    As a musical artist, Rory is one-half of the Grammy-award-winning duo, Joey+Rory. Between 2008 and the untimely passing of his wife Joey in March 2016. he and his wife Joey made a half-dozen albums and tv specials, toured the world and sold nearly a million records, leaving an indelible mark on the country music and the world with the music they made and life they lived.  Rory’s highly-anticipated first solo album Gentle Man was released in 2021. 

 

        As a songwriter, Rory has written multiple number-one songs, including “Some Beach” by Blake Shelton, “A Little More Country Than That” by Easton Corbin, and “The Chain of Love” by Clay Walker, along with having his songs recorded by Reba McEntire, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, Collin Raye, Mark Wills and many others.

His memoir, This Life I Live, debuted at the top of the New York Times Bestseller List, and his children’s books are family favorites everywhere And on his blog, he shares his heart and story of unwavering faith and hope in the face of tragedy can inspire millions of readers who follow their story.

Rory and his 8-year-old daughter, Indiana, live an hour south of Nashville on a historic farm where she attends a one-room schoolhouse right on the property with more than a dozen other children from the community.

        Beginning with 52 episodes of the weekly tv series “The Joey+Rory Show” they made at their farm in 2012, Rory has continued to make authentic, ground-breaking television shows and videos from the Homestead since, from the blog series This Life I Live to films To Joey, With Love and Finding Josephine. Most recently he and his team have launched The Homestead Channel, a new digital tv network that streams life, love and hope on the new frontier.
