A friend of mine shared this blog post with me earlier this week. And I've shared it with a number of my closest friends. It's a powerful look at the state of culture in America and the world today and how we've become addicted to the dopamine that our screens provide and the impact it's having on all of us...
State of the Culture, 2024.
Or a glimpse into post-entertainment society (it's not pretty).

I really appreciated your take on the current cultural shifts, especially around Slope Run. It reminded me of how community-driven projects can ignite change. I participated in one similar recently and saw firsthand the impact it had!
Such a profound reflection. In today’s chaotic cultural climate, re-evaluating our roots and values is so necessary. I’ve been trying to simplify my own life and cut out the noise of social media. Sometimes, I just head to minigame for some simple, old-school games—no stress, just a way to let my mind rest. In a world this loud, those simple joys feel more important than ever.
Thank you so much!

I keep a tab open with Crazyig for when I need a break during work. They have a decent collection of browser games that run smoothly without any lag. The racing and shooting categories are where I usually end up spending most of my time.
