About the event
Raising your own meat chickens for food can seem overwhelming. From the brooders, heat lamps, feeders and chicken tractors to the kill cones, pluckers, scalders and storage you may be asking yourself if it's worth it. Well, it is! And we are here to HELP!

Among many things we do here at Hardison Mill Farm as a family, raising our own food is one of our passions. Though we don't process all of the animals we are raising for food ourselves just yet, we do take pride in processing our own chicken.
